Project Overview
The Manor is a private family resort in the General Reserved Area (GRA) of Ilaro, Ogun state, Nigeria. This resort comprises basically of a main house and a guest house connected by paved walkways and ancillary relaxation facilities that serve as a meeting area for the family and its guest.
The concept is to restore its neo colonial architecture of the building existing.The resultant solution is a building characterised by wild and tall windows, extensive use of woody application of roof vault system, cross ventilated spaces, etc. This sustainable design optimizes its landscape with lavish gardens, with the building strategically positioned to take advantage of the climatic conditions minimizing sun exposure, heat gain and energy consumption.
